Yesterday wasn't so bad. Thought I missed the SC outing, I went to my grandaunt's house to make kueh. Made of green bean. So badly wanted to go for the SC outing. At least I contributed my making cookies. ( Wonder why it's chocolate-ty? ) LOL. My grandma is finally home. :) I didn't do much today. Just sitting in front of my computer watching HIMYM. Rocked. Student Leadership Camp 2009

I'm finally home. After such a long and exhausting camp. First day was fun with all the ice breakers and station games. The suspense of the night walk is irritating. Funny. We were watching '"THE SIXTH SENSE". The small boy so cute! Out of point. First night slept for 1 hour plus. Woke up feeling so cold. The cold caused my cold. :)
Morning woke up expecting a run but we didn't have time and only did stretching. *Burst my bubble* Went to eat breakfast. Not bad. Actually the food was all not bad. After that, we had our amazing race. Ran with a small shoe. My feet practically has so any blisters and it was so sore. I wanted so desperately to change my shoe after coming back but we didn't have time. SC meeting while the sec 2 CCACs were hiking and while the sec 1 CCACs were having a workshop. Miss Chua announced who were in the 2010/2011 EXCO. After that we all got to bathe first. It was early. Preparation for Gala Night. Rocked. It's weird not feeling *stage fright*. Last day, the telematch was a bomb. Really enjoyed. Teamwork and stuff. My voice is gone! But goood. :)

Yesterday, I went to Choa Chu Kang's cinema to watch where got ghost with Clare.
HAHAHA.
I wouldn't rate it THAT high though.
It wasn't really THAT scary but people kept screaming.

I went there and had a BLAST!
Go there learn how to do forfeit.
Haha.
The Guy was super friendly.

The first game we played was Ugly Dolls:
- It's something like SNAP but you have to find 3 similar dolls.
( Shouted and banged the table like nobody's business )
[ Krisada forfeited ]
He had to climb the table and meow like a cat.
I captured some forfeits on video so can go Youtube find. :P
The second game we played was First Hand:
- The card will show you and image then have to follow the card slowest one will get the card. Most cards lose.
[ This time was Yuhui, she went into the SPA and did something. Haha. ]
The third game we played was I think, Am I... :
- Have to wear this thing around your head then you slot a card into the opening. Have to guess what you are.

I had quite a weird dream yesterday. Haha.
Must be thinking. " It's one of those weird dreams Shireen keeps having."
HAHA.
Before I slept, I was reading an article that MSN had reported on during her visit to Singapore.
( I think you should know by now who I dreamt of. )
She called me on the phone. ( Somehow )
And came down to Singapore to meet me.
If I wasn't wrong, we were watching a soccer match in a GIGANTIC stadium in Singapore.

Fiona out of nowhere called me on my cellphone and asked me to buy Munmit's birthday present.
Then I said he wanted a skateboard and asked her if there was enough money to buy it and if the class contributed.
Her response was totally unexpected.
She said that Daniel Ang, Isaac and the rest of W459gave her the money to buy.
Like up to more than SGD $500.
Then go buy the skateboard in my dream was purple. LOL.

Well, here's something - Your problems are not big, my problems are not big but we both have problem and soon enough, we've got to face it instead of avoiding it and running away.
WHo cares about those who critisize you?
No one right? But that you don't know.
There are others out there keeping watch of you and helping you with things.
They say that they can be your punching bag but don't punch them too hard.
Everything has it's own way to go - and the best way is: the narrow way.
THat's what friends are for.
Always there helping you and standing by you.
They keep you out of trouble and help you up when you fall.
Always remember that you chose them and they chose you.
They tolerated you and you tolerated them.
So keep them close.

Hey guys, it's been a long long time since I've posted here. Maybe I should post more often and get inspired to do stuff. (: It's been 2 weeks of my eye being swollen but PRAISE GOD it's healing. That day on a Monday night, 060409, my mum decided to bring me to the Doc again as there was a stye on my eyelid and it became worse. The Doctor referred me to NUH's A&E. Went there at 9 came home at 11. Didn't go to school the next day. But thank God that it's healing. Amen. (:

Jog-a-thon, a sports event recently over. LOL. Let me share with you. Last year, our Jog-a-thon, I came in as 30++. So that particular morning, I started praying. I prayed that I would get into the top 20 and i was not going to lose. By hook or by crook I got to get in. The race started and people started running. I was somehow in the middle. around 180 girls. Went by level and gender. Alot of them walked and I thought to myself that I didn't want to run. I was still on MC for 10 days from sports. I had body ache and all. In short : I was not fit enough to run. 'BAMMMMMMM!' The 'horn' sounded. I ran with Clare and Fiona. Valerie didn't want to run but then she cut and became FIRST. Clare fll because Valerie cut. LOL. Then after running halfway, Clare was behind me. Yanna was infront shouting and I didn't know who that was LOL. I couldn't see due to brightness and swollen eye. Funny uh she. Fadilah, Iman and Farah also. LOL. In the end alot of Netballers came in. I was 17th. I didn't let go of my prayer. (: And God was faithful. (: After that, I went to Lot 1 with Clare. YuHui went to Lavender to change her passport. ( I don't know why I remembered that but now I think it's creepy.)

Yesterday was Good Friday. Easter production '' The Final Solution'' not bad. Impacted. Continue it soon. Got to go now. Bye. (:

You know, I feel kind of weird these days.
I think something I do has to be changed.
I can encourage people but I can't encourage myself.
I help people so much but I can't do it myself.
Lots of people say I'm cheerful but I just love to help people sincerely.
Not to get merits or anything.
It's all from within.

On 260309, I woke up and realised that my eye was swollen. ):
I thought there was something stuck in my eye but there wasn't.
So, I decided to go to school since I thought it was not a BIG deal.
During Art lesson, we had to do another project. ):
like got so many projects.
Hang-Glider, P.E., Art, English.

After that, I went to Mac with Yanna And Amirah.
It was our FIRST time this year.

Came home, my eye was swollen-er.
PAINFUL!
Yup. Painful.
I didn't really cry but it was excruciating.

I eye was even red-er and swollen-er.
My mother told me to rest at home and ask my sister to bring my to the Doctor in the late morning.
Went and Doc gave me NORMAL SALINE and a gel to put in the eye.
Went home put it.
Gel 3 times a day put 15 minutes after saline.
Saline 4 hours daily.
Nothing happened.
It became worse as a matter of fact.
On Sat, 280309
We had to go to Johnson Mama's House for my Grand dad's memorial.
Then my eye was like a goldfish.
And I could not even touch it.
Literally like a balloon.
Yeah.
So i wore my sister's sunglasses.
Then people keep saying I looked like a real Superstar.
Hahaha.

Well, today in the morning, the same thing.
Flies everywhere. So yucky and icky.
And i still wonder why the last story DNT toilet light is on early in the morning.
Then after that we had to gather under the bridge for something.

Yes you know who you are. But there is one person who was a new person in my life. She did something no ''new'' friend would do. We only started to talk a few days back but throughout the whole 3 days, she messaged me comforting me at the same time. She none other than my laughing gas (:

Well most of you might not know but my grandpa ( mum's side ) recently passed on and his wake was held on Tuesday afternoon. It happened on Friday night and it caught me off guard. Well, it did catch me off guard as I didn't expect it to bee so soon.

I was not very close to him and it made me feel so guilty for not having sad goodbye. He was a strong man for having endured all the pain and sufferings he went through. The people who were closer to him were those who had the most pain but they said he was a strong and full of faith person as he prayed a lot even in such pain. He had a lot of complication and the doctor said that it could not all be treated at one but he had a lot of mental strength. His unique name is - Napoleon Gabriel.

The amazing thing was that the 3 different days (Sunday, Monday and Tuesday), 3 different pastors came to share a message for each day and the thing was that all of them shared the same message. Like Whoa.
It's from : 1 Corinthians 15: 50- 58.

Well at least now my Grandpa is not suffering from all his pain anymore and is in good hands. At this point in time, I saw something different. There were broken relationships being restored by both Family and Friends. Everyone put their differences aside and paid their last respect. I witnessed it all. Along with my sister.

That time in life i was thinking of how much we can do in our life to impact people's life. All this time everything was as it is but now it all seem to have a different perspective.

I did shed my tears and deep down I am happy to say :

Grandpa You're in good hands now.

I got in . Out of 100 students .. 20 got in .
3 : I got into a TDD ( Total Defence Day ) video .
4 : I scored top in class for one of my Chem test and both were A1's .

Well,
1) I don't really know.
2) Maybe it's because i don't really fight for luxury.
3) People think I don't have problems but everyone has problems. =]
4) Because I don't like to be sad.
5) When people are sad, I'll go and cheer them up. (Majority)
6) Like to joke around.
7) I'm not that EMO type.
8) I love to look on the bright side. ( Like how i lost my phone on the learning journey =] )

Well, Kind of long since I've posted =]
You wouldn't believe what I dreamt last night!
Gosh.
It started as me being late for netball practice.
There was an impostor of me (technically a robot)
And the robot kind of couldn't function.
Then it stopped and dropped ( Not a fire drill )
And the bottom part ( the legs ) came off
Got alot of coins inside.
I took every thing since it was my impostor =]
I know i was being selfish but i had to set things out right.
I gathered the coins in my bag, Valerie's bag and Falah's bag
Then i brought it to the pawn shop near my school.
The guy said 1 coin was like 500 dollars.
I pawned everything tthen got like..

Yeah, I went home, gave my sis 20,000
Gave my dad 50,000 dollars ( to buy a boat )
I gave my mum 20,000 dollars
I saved 10,000 dollars
Then, I went back to school for ANOTHER netball training.
Then got another robot.
Again got alot of coins.
This time was more.
I dont know why but i had to take,
Ritika's bag, Valerie's bag, Falah's bag, Shaikah's bag and Fadilah's bag.

Went to the pawn shop and they guy said 1 was 10,000 dollars worth.
It was like billions of dollars until i had to open a bank account with extra bank security.
Then i gave each netballer 1,000 dollars.
I gave 1 million dollars to donation to people who have no food.
Then I offered some money to the school to get the netballers a coach a good coach.
I gave some money to them to buy new equipment.
( It gets weirder )
Then my phone rang and guess who called?

Awkwardly, she was one of my good friends.
She said she'll drop by at my place for quite awhile.
Then the next day, she came in a charted bus.
(easy to spot because it had HSM everywhere)

When my sister came home, she was screaming her lungs out because she saw Zac.

Then I invited almost all the netballers to come to my house.

Everyone crowded around Zac.

That was all, Like not enought space in my room so we all slept in my living room.
The JBs thought me how to play the guitar.
Selena and Miley thought me how to dress up.
Demi, Ashley and Vanessa thought me how to sing.
Zac helped me with my dad's dressing.
The rest helped out and went to tour around Singapore.
And then I fell off my bed.

Saturday had 2 BS at 1 shot =]
But it was like 1/2 of lesson 3 and 1/2 of lesson 5.

Sunday was splendid =]
Monday went to Kampong Glam.
We were kind of stuck in a traffic jam when we were going there.
Cikgu Siti bought each of us chapteh.
We went to the Sultan Mosque but didn't go in.
Then it started to rain 'cats and dogs'
But it only lasted for like 5-10 minutes.
LOL.
Then, we were able to roam around by ourselves.

Breakfast at McDonald's
This is a good story and is true, please read it all the way through until the end! (After the story, there are some very interesting facts!):
I am a mother of three (ages 14, 12, 3) and have recently completed my college degree. The last class I had to take was Sociology.
The teacher was absolutely inspiring with the qualities that I wish every human being had been graced with.
Her last project of the term was called, 'Smile.'
The class was asked to go out and smile at three people and document their reactions.
I am a very friendly person and always smile at everyone and say hello anyway. So, I thought this would be a piece of cake, literally.
Soon after we were assigned the project, my husband, youngest son, and I went out to McDonald's one crisp March morning.
It was just our way of sharing special playtime with our son.
We were standing in line, waiting to be served, when all of a sudden
everyone around us began to back away, and then even my husband did.
I did not move an inch... an overwhelming feeling of panic welled up inside of me as I turned to see why they had moved.
As I turned around I smelled a horrible 'dirty body' smell, and there
standing behind me were two poor homeless men.
As I looked down at the short gentleman, close to me, he was 'smiling'.
His beautiful sky blue eyes were full of God's Light as he searched for acceptance.
He said, 'Good day' as he counted the few coins he had been clutching.
The second man fumbled with his hands as he stood behind his friend. I realized the second man was mentally challenged and the blue-eyed gentleman was his salvation.
I held my tears as I stood there with them.
The young lady at the counter asked him what they wanted.
He said, 'Coffee is all Miss' because that was all they could afford. (If they wanted to sit in the restaurant and warm up, they had to buy
something. He just wanted to be warm).
Then I really felt it - the compulsion was so great I almost reached out and embraced the little man with the blue eyes.
That is when I noticed all eyes in the restaurant were set on me, judging my every action.
I smiled and asked the young lady behind the counter to give me two more breakfast meals on a separate tray.
I then walked around the corner to the table that the men had chosen as a resting spot. I put the tray on the table and laid my hand on the blue-eyed gentleman's cold hand.
He looked up at me, with tears in his eyes, and said, 'Thank you.'
I leaned over, began to pat his hand and said, 'I did not do this for you. God is here working through me to give you hope.'
I started to cry as I walked away to join my husband and son. When I sat down my husband smiled at me and said, 'That is why God gave you to me, Honey, to give me hope.'
We held hands for a moment and at that time, we knew that only because of the Grace that we had been given were we able to give.
We are not church goers, but we are believers.
That day showed me the pure Light of God's sweet love.
I returned to college, on the last evening of class, with this story in
hand.
I turned in 'my project' and the instructor read it.
Then she looked up at me and said, 'Can I share this?'
I slowly nodded as she got the attention of the class.
She began to read and that is when I knew that we as human beings and being part of God share this need to heal people and to be healed.
In my own way I had touched the people at McDonald's, my son, instructor, and every soul that shared the classroom on the last night I spent as a college student.
I graduated with one of the biggest lessons I would ever learn:
UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE.

LOVE PEOPLE AND USE THINGS - NOT LOVE THINGS AND USE PEOPLE.

Yeah. So I decided that I should listen to my mum since she knows best. @.@ =} Maybe just maybe Ritika did actually tell Mdm Rashidah. Heh. Well, nothing's better that to get nominated to 3 posts in your first year in secondary school aight? Well, I'm going for the SC thing. I remember there was one time when I actually wanted to be a SC or CCAC. I kind of prayed about it and.. VIOLA there it is, I'm here choosing between the posts. I wanted to choose CCAC but my mum says choose SC and yeah. Well, I've been a prefect for 4 years on Concord and going to be on in Unity soon. I thought of trying something new but.. heh. Who knows what good might come out of it. Ritika has to stay in netball for another 1 & 1/2 years dang it. =} I'm lost somewhere in my mind xD. Firstly, Thank god I've decided what to choose for my post. Secondly, I'm getting complains for not having a class outing so I'm planning one. Hoping to make the right decision. Lastly, I've not been resting well for this whole week. Dang it. Thank God I didn't sleep in class. Good thing Isaac taught me ''the waking up if you are about to fall asleep thing'' =} I made it through the whole week without sleeping in class. Some of my classmates did but I didn't WOOTS! Heh. I realized and so do people = ]
Yeah so on Friday [ the first week of school ]
There was a learning journey = ]
To ARMY MUSEUM..
From the start of the day I was very high = }
I was so high my teacher didn't believe what I said was true she thought I was lying..
LOL..
During the learning journey I was seating on the back row = }
Came down the bus and went in the museum..
Was sooooo cool..

Came out of the theater I saw Emilyn using her phone so i just touched my pocket..
I figured out my phone was LOST!!
I was so scared but i was still happy..

My friend scolded me for being happy when I lost me phone..
We went out then back again to find the teachers'
Good thing I spotted one of the teacher's shirt..
They were in the cafe..
I told the group of them..
[ Had no choice when i tell my form teacher they all have to know = ) ]

At the last part of the tour we had to wait outside the cafe to wait for the bus..

I went for INSPIRE STRONGER'08
Dang it was a heap of fun..
Woke up around 6+
Dad drove us to Lot 1..
Met Shankari and went to eat mac breakfast..
Then met the rest at Clementi..
We took 184 and alighted opposite Salvation Army..
We walked to the campsite..
We played some Ice breaker game..
Then got Cheering competiton..
I don't know who won but our cheer was funny..
Then we went and played..
Then we all went back and had to make a skit..
Our skit was seriously funny..
Then was time to shower..
There was a milipede in the basin..

We ate.. the food was not bad..

We had session at Salvation army..

Low element - We had to climb on the bench and then we have to move according to the instruction given.. Then we had to do to spiderweb.. And the electric fence..
Third activity :
Abseiling - You guys know what's abseiling right? I was up there for like 1/2 an hour LOL.. 15 past then Shaikah walked past with Zulaika then they kept cheering..

Trekker's Challenge - We had to turn the mat upside down and we finished it in 6 minutes! Then we had to fold a triangle we finished it in 45 seconds woots!

Haven't posted this few days..
Been sick lately.. -.-''
Yesterday went to the Doctor then the cost of the medicine was S$59.90!!!
EXPENSIVE CAN?!?!
Even without the consultation fee..
If not would have been S$80..
My sickness has become worse than last time..
So.. Today I'm on MC!!!
But super boring can?
Everyone in school then i at home..

Went to church on sat then the preaching was still about prayer..
Went there then i kept jumping!

So.. the whole time I was like looking at Ritika and eavesdropping on their conversation..

I ended my post on saturday..
But after I ended it i went to watch "sky high"
The movie is kind of nice :D

The Doctor said i have INFECTION in my nose and my throat.. T.T
I heard then i was sooo shocked... T.T
After that.. came home and after i took my medicine i was sooo drowsy.. @.@
Then I went to sleep in mummy's room.. (about 9.00 pm)
Then I was woken up by someone.. (about 10.20 pm)
Then I went to the hall and lied down on the sofa..
I didnt go to sleep..
I watched some science thing then my Dad asked me to go sleep..
I did actualy go to sleep at 10.30 pm
Haha..
Yesterday when my Dad was bringing me to go to the Doctor..
We went to the carpark because my father said he would drive me there..
When i almost reached the car..
I saw Our Unity teacher.. Mr. Chew (not the DM)
Then he was with his wife.. Haha
Shocked to see him there
I thought was someone else..
Because a few days ago..
We went to the carpark in the morning..
My Dad saw Mr. Chew..
I didnt see only like bearly 5 seconds..
My Dad he drove out of the carpark..
Then Mr. Chew's car was behind..
Then.. His car was faster then my Dad's car..
We like practically followed Mr. Chew..
Then i mistaken Mr. Chew with another school staff.. Haha

Alot of things happened but what is done is done
I lot my W910i red handphone on thursday : 25/3/2008
Jog-a-thon on friday was tiring came in around 22-31 like that.. Sadded
Told my mother about my missing handphone
Taekwondo on sat.. Had body ache after run then still have taekwondo..
M1 replaced my SIM card..
Sunday woke up at 730++ then went to VIVO for the MAZE ATTACK!!!!
We finished like 3rd then in the end.. the money was shared among the cell group
Went to Carl's Junior to eat and there is like soo nice!!!!
Came home and..

A few days ago at around 1:26 a.m. my sisterwas still using the computer so... she was apparently awake and i was asleep.. somehow i think i didnt..
at about 1:26 a.m. my sister said the i sat on my bed the i stood up and the i walked to the glass cabinet and then she asked me what i was finding i actually answered her which was scary..
Then, i went back to my bed and slept..
I came back from school the following day and i heard what she said and i thought she was lying but it was a matter affect , i was actually : SLEEP-WALKING
I was like freaking shocked !!! 0.0
Ok... enough about that... i know alot of us.. have started school and like are getting to the new enviroment too .. :D
Ok... I met 1 really nice girl.. her name is : RITIKA
Ok.. she's very friendly and kind.. hope to be good friends with her :D
